FALL PROGRAM REGISTRATION
**INFORMATION COMING IN SEPTEMBER 2012**
MOTHER GOOSE TIME – For Babies (6 – 17 mos.) & Their Caregivers
An interactive nursery rhyme program with board books, music & movement that promotes early literacy. Since we want this to be a special time for just you and your baby, we ask that you make other arrangements for older siblings.
TODDLETIME – For Ages 18-35 mos. w/ an Adult
This first story time experience includes stories, songs and a simple craft activity.
PRESCHOOL STORYTIME – For Ages 3 – 5 (excluding kindergartners)
Encourage a lifelong love of reading and libraries by sharing books & songs with Miss Anna. A craft activity reinforces the stories.
KINDERGARTEN KIDS – For Kindergartners
Explore the world of reading with popular books and activities for children who are beginning to read independently.
BOOK CLUBS
TALK IT UP! – A Weekly Book Club for Grades 1 & 2
Children join us for a discussion of the story and illustrations and a theme-related craft or activity. Our youngest readers will increase their vocabulary, learn to appreciate picture book art and, most of all, share a love of books with family and friends.
CHAT & CHEW – A Monthly Book Club for Grades 3-4
Children read the book at home and come together for a lively discussion to share their thoughts and a healthy snack. Talking with your mouth full is allowed!
PAGE TURNERS – A Monthly Book Club for Grades 5-6
Young readers hone their listening, speaking, and critical thinking skills as they react to the books they read as well as the ideas of others. The discussion may include games, contests, & other fun activities.
